Kaep and Cam are similar? Other than mobility they're not very similar at all. Kaep came into a one read, west coast style offense where he got rid of the ball quickly on timing routes. Cam has run a Coryell offense which is quite a bit different. Kap went to a team with a QB guru for a coach, Cam went to a team that had a defensive minded coach. Not how you can draw many parallels between then.


Ginn is what he is. A terrible route runner with top line speed. Guess they can give him the go route every time.

The "weapons" in Carolina are few and far between.

Double the TE. load the box.

Don't bite on the option.

Ginn isn't as bad at running routes as you want to make it seem. It's not his strength, but he didn't have much trouble getting separation in his last stint with us and looked good in the preseason.


Panthers will be kicking field goals instead of TDs.

Not really, doubt running the ball will be much of a chore.


Meanwhile, our offense has multiple pass catching RBs, and Grant's speed is very comparable to Ginn.

I really think this game boils down to our offense VS their D.

Not so much the other way around... our D isn't going to be very good this year, at least starting out (lack of pressure being the main issue) but I really think Carolina's lackluster offense from last year is actually going to be worse this year.
