While BB5 has shown some flashes here and there, he really hasn't played anywhere near the level of the #3 pick in the NFL draft.

 

I know it's only been 16 starts now and he's still really young, but even after only 16 starts I think most of us would have liked to see him lead the Jags in more competitive games. I would have really liked for him to be better in today's game, especially against a below average Pats defense, but it just didn't happen.

 

I know nobody really expected the Jags to beat the Pats, but it sure would have been nice to see them play better on the offensive side of the ball.

 

Obviously it's not all on BB5, but he is the QB and as the leader of the team, he really needs to try to find a way to get the guys to be more competitive in games like these on the offensive side of the ball.

 

Next week they will be heading into Indianapolis with a chance to stay in first place AND knock the clots out of first place. Add to that the fact the the clots have not played very well so far this season (other then their comeback from 2 scores down against the tacks today).

 

A win against the clots would go a long way for this Jaguars team.

 

Can Gus really come up with a great game plan to actually challenge the clots for first place in next Sundays game?
