Yes, I have actually played the game so I know how players feel late in the game after a big play. And I have also watched plenty of games and apparently, unlike you, paid attention to what is going on because if you had paid attention, you would know that almost every single time a player has a big run, he is replaced by in order to give him a breather. You would also have noticed that often times <gasp> they actually call a play for said back up with the fresh legs.

 

Call a time out to give your RB a break after a long run? Brilliant! Let's give those 300 lb defensive linemen who just had to sprint down field late in a game a chance to catch their breath too. I mean how dare the jags put in a fresh RB and go straight at them. That could possibly give the offense an unfair advantage over those poor defensive linemen.

 

Oh yeah, BTW where are your credentials? You are the one calling the coaches out. Obviously you must be more qualified than they are to realize their errors and know how they should have responded and what kind of response would have guaranteed a successful play.

Your reading comprehension is garbage. I mean it really, really is. Not once did I say they should have avoided a run play. Not once. Not once did I say they should have passed the ball the instead. Not once. I said they should not have run Toby. Run Pierce, run Grant, run Blake.

 

I also have played the game, and I also pay attention...want to know what I see? A running back who hits the hole slowly and, more often then not, gets nothing out of his run. Toby is great on dump offs, not so great in running it up the middle, which for four straight games the team has gotten nothing out of. If you are so perceptive how come you dont see that?

 

And I didnt say they should have called a timeout either. What my sentences mean is that every other option on the team, including a timeout, should be the play before running Toby. Because he is terrible. Seems like most fans agree listening to the post game show and reading message boards and listening to what these radio hosts have to say. 

 

And I dont need to post my credentials. You're the one going on and on about how you have all this knowledge about what NFL teams and players are feeling.
