Gabbert actually used to play better than he does now.  I read a lot of armchair coaches' posts on why it was important for him to take more chances down the field, because, believe it or not, he wasn't throwing enough picks.  The logic was that he was playing too "safe."  Well, our wishes were granted.

 

I would love to see what David Shula could do with this kid.  And Shula's not the only QB guru in the league.  There will be more than one team willing to take a shot at him.

 

Sorry to all his haters, Gabbert will be in the league for a while.
