That is what really bothers me, because I have always wanted a Defensive minded Head Coach. I love watching a strong hard hitting stout defensive team, stop the run & run the ball owning the clock on offense - old school style...
That is what the Jaguars always kind of did well from Coughlin, Jack Del Rio, and then ... the owner changed.. JDR was let go right as that started to happen, Mularkey came in still not sure why you would fire JDR for him but whatever he lasted one year & GM Dave Caldwell said it was time to go in a different direction but he let Gus go on for three years with a worse record than Mularkey had so what's up with that? The Defense shouldnt be the leagues worst every year for three years under a defensive minded head coach.. and Marks was back in this game.. poz was back, house was back. i mean other than Fowler he had almost everyone back & playing that he wanted from the off season... so why did the Texans Hoyer look like Tom Brady? |
