You said Marrone would get us to 6-10, right? That means he would go 5-4. I'm not saying he would, but if he did, you'd look pretty stupid for not wanting to give him a chance. Hell, it'd be worth it if he went 4-5. Anything less than 4 wins and we'd still get a top 10 pick.

So what exactly is the problem with promoting him to the interim head coach?

***edit*** btw, just looked at last year's draft order, you would still probably get a top 10 pick at 6-10.
