What you say is sensible. And FBT also said something similar to this. "Lose big, lose little, win little, win big" is a possible sign that a team is progressing. And we can be considered in the midst of the lose little step in the process.

However, I'd like you to consider one thing. To really gauge whether we are progressing through this manner, should we not consider the opponents we've been "losing little" to?

In my opinion the last four games should have been "win little" games. The talent we have on this team is better than what we faced. To me, the coach has failed to get the best out of these players.

Thanks man! I try to keep a level head, that's why I try to avoid coming here immediately after a loss lol

But to your question. You're right, if we were to follow that pattern, these past 3 absolutely should have been "win little" games.

It just seems the Jags are best friends with Murphy. Something always goes wrong. A lot of it is bad luck: missing fgs, tipped passes that land where no one can get an INT, ridiculous helmet catch, penalty to negate converting the onside kick.

There's also coaching problems delaying that. Or what appears to be coaching problems: illegal formations, penalties, underperforming players still starting.

Then there's the inexperience issue: Wrong routes run, bad qb decisions, again missed fgs, missing assignments.

A lot of these overlap, a lot of it is just plain bad luck. Maybe we just aren't quite there yet. We started the season with no 2nd half offense. The last 3 games our point differential through 3 quarters is 0. So we've learned to play 3, do we soon figure out 4? How much is coaching? I think a lot is, but again, I'm no expert, just seems like there's a coaching issue. How much is just plain learning to win? And how much is bad luck?

I agree we should have a better record, and maybe better coaching would have gotten us there. So would have better luck. And same with proper execution by young guys.

We're getting better, it's slow and painful, but we are. Maybe mixing up the defense will put us over that edge. Who knows?

I just want to win.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
