How old are your daughters?  Mine are 7, and they help with the pumpkin pie (as long as they get to lick the beaters), Cranberry Salad, and cranberry bread.  I'm too worried about letting them handle a knife just yet.   But I'm a worry wart.

Great!  It's really good.  I always love trying new recipes.  It's really tempting for me to go get a piece right now and eat it.

When I'm doing dinner it's either Fried Chicken and Fries, I pick up Pizza or Spaghetti! My wife makes the REAL meals no denying it! 

 

Hamburger Helper is where it's at!  Though I try to cook something nice at least once or twice a week.  (Of course my job is easy and I set my own hours.  While my Wife's a high school teacher who takes her job very seriously and spends a lot of time grading papers and planning lessons)  

 

As for cleaning... I have to be in the mood to clean.  My wife does most of it at our house (our daughters do keep their room pretty clean, at least when it's inspection time).  Our house can get a little messy, but it never gets too bad.  When we have company though... then it's time to make the house spotless.
