There is a legitimate concern that Bradley is instilling an "OK to lose" mentality in the players that may carry over after he's gone. Marcedes recent comments highlight that concern. There could be a very big downside to waiting until after the season.
And I agree with Hurricane. The chance to take over a franchise with a legitimate young franchise QB and lots of good young players and turn it into a winner is a huge selling point. Nothing beats taking a losing franchise and winning with it on one's coaching resume'. A perceived lack of patience by management is a minor factor. After all, coaches generally don't expect to fail. "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?" |
