Mike Sando along with many other columnist have already proved that Russell Wilson does most of his damage from inside the pocket, which throws out the running QB factor.

 

Russell Wilson is a 1/2 inch shorter than Drew Bress with better athleticism. 

 

So, while Wilson's ability to scramble might be hindered later on in his career, I don't see that being an issue as long as he has solid protection, ala Drew Brees.
