Mike Sando along with many other columnist have already proved that Russell Wilson does most of his damage from inside the pocket, which throws out the running QB factor.

 

Russell Wilson is a 1/2 inch shorter than Drew Bress with better athleticism. 

 

So, while Wilson's ability to scramble might be hindered later on in his career, I don't see that being an issue as long as he has solid protection, ala Drew Brees.

I merely expressed curiosity about adaptation down the road - I didn't say he was RGIII.   

 

These two will be fun to watch over the next several years, IMO,  but I just feel slightly stronger about Luck.  It may come down to the weapons available to them in the prime of their careers - as they both hold lots of promise.  

 

Man, I hope the Jags are about to draft a guy worthy of entering this conversation !
