Can't argue with any of them.  Kinda surprised by the absence of Les Paul or Chet Atkins.

 

I'll add some more obscure ones:

 

"Lunatic Fringe" - Red Rider.  Awesome slide guitar

"Tom Sawyer" - Rush.  Perhaps Alex Lifeson's best solo.  Maybe Peart's best drum fill, too.

"High Landrons" - Eric Johnson.  Hadn't heard him? Maybe you should

"Fight the Good Fight" - Triumph.  Not their best song, but probably Rik Emmett's best solo

"You Got that Right" - Lynnrd Skynnrd.  Great Band, on the list with Freebird

"Fantasy Girl" - .38 Special.  Incredible singing, too. Jax's own Jeff Carlisi continues to be ignored.

"Electric Eye" - Judas Priest.  Not incredibly complex, just sounds right

"Wasted Years" - Iron Maiden. The solo is but one of the incredible guitar works in this song

 

Edit: Forgot "Stone in Love" by Journey.  If you love "Don't Stop Believing", check this one out.  Schon is completely underrated.
