Edit: Forgot "Stone in Love" by Journey.  If you love "Don't Stop Believing", check this one out.  Schon is completely underrated.

 

1. disagree. Love Rush, as well you know, but I think the solo in Freewill beats Tom Sawyer. Heck, I think many other solos from Lifeson are better than the Tom Sawyer one, and the TS solo is really good.

3. Meh, while I agree Schon is good and probably underrated, I've never heard a Journey solo that really made me care either way. Good band, good songs for the most part, just a lack of anything really great "solo-wise". 

 

4. Disappointed that you left out Trevor Rabin from your list. His solo on "Owner of a Lonely Heart" probably should not only have made your list, but probably the top 50 from the other list, too.
