Gibson.com’s Top Guitar Solos of All Time

#32

Quote:3.  Guitar solo begins at 2:27

Some great bass work by Ross Valory, if you listen carefully, too.  I'm not Journey's biggest fan by any means, but it's an incredible 2 minutes

4. I prefer Steve Howe's guitar work in Yes.  I do like Rabin's solo in "It Can Happen".  I had to draw the line somewhere, and I didn't even get into all my favorite genres.

3. I know the song...I just don't find the solo in Stone In Love all that impressive. It sounds CC Deville-ish towards the latter part.

4. Thats interesting...what is it that you like on the "It Can Happen" solo? I find that solo rather plain - certainly not up to Rabin's top works such as the aforementioned Owner of A Lonely Heart....even Rabin's solo in "Something to hold Onto" I'd put above the one on "it can Happen".
