Big, big difference between QBs and RBs. A couple of early-mid round success stories is a far cry from the RB situation, wherein its debateable that the position itself is even worth a forst rounder, due to having a short lifespan and being dime a dozen/plug and play.


QBs still require an entire offense built around them for high production, and are the entire face of your offense. QB is a high value position you want to take as few risks with as possible, elevating the value of good QBs in to the higher picks. RB's, by and large are the same guy with slight variances in measurables, and can be neglected to later rounds for more important positions like o line or defensive positions, and still produce.


Incredibly different situations.
