I get that you have these preconceived notions about the youth of today and you won't change your mind because you like to come across as some cantankerous old man type...but this is off base. The only rap star anyone I know looks up to is Jay-Z not really for his rapping so much, but for his business acumen. For the most part the black youth of today know that most rappers are basically just actors getting paid for a manufactured image.

You can make your assumptions about who people would rather look up to but you're wrong.
