Gus Bradley is supposed to be a defensive coach and we have a #25-30 ranked defense EVERY YEAR. Bortles is the best player on the team; anyone blaming him doesn't know football. He gives us a CHANCE to win every game but our defense gives up 28 POINTS PER GAME. The Vikings are in the playoffs and gave up 10 points and 17 ppg for the season.


Defense is the reason the Jags suck. The offense is pretty good. Gus Bradley is a joke and any real owner would have fired him by now. Jerry Jones, Kraft, etc wouldn't put up with a defensive coach who gives up 28 PPG. Khan doesn't know how to win.

A lot of us must not know football. With that comment you must be one of the dumbest people on this board.( no offence ). You drive down the field 3 times and settle for 3 FG. You rush throws, take unnecessary sacks. You had 2 illegal forward passes. Throws a pick before half. Waste seconds before the end of the 3rd Q instead of getting a play off. You don't put the blame on the D. They do their job. No team out there can keep a team from scoring at all. It's the offense that needs to put points on the board. Everybody saw the commercials about more big plays. You can't play patty cake down the field and expect to win. That's why it got picked, that's why you can't run either. You throw deep, DB's will play back for that deep ball and not be so close to stop the run. So you really think Bortles is the best player? We are in a whole lot of trouble.
