Throwing pick 6's or interceptions deep in your own territory where the other team is already in scoring position is not a recipe for success. Blake can't continue to do that for us to expect to win consistently. To be fair to Blake, our running game is not respected by opposing defenses so Blake is having to do too much in year two. Blake obviously makes us more competitive than we've been in years and he does make plays but he also throws bad interceptions in almost every game. It's ok to identify that as part of the problem. It doesn't mean any fair minded individual is calling for his head. He just needs to clean that up as he continues to progress and it would also really benefit him if he had anything that resembled a running game to lean on. And no, the defense isn't good enough to bail him out, but most defenses in the league aren't good enough to bail a QB out of the positions Blake puts his defense in at times.
