I absolutely adore this film starting with the characters, the humor, the feel, and the story. This is a great film, one of the best of the year. And it was only a set up film. Some alley oop pass are just as pretty as the slam dunk.



I always thought "why does Finn have Poe's jacket. How are they going to make this one make sense?" And they gave it to us as a necessary plot device. I was satisfied and fulfilled for now.


Kylo Ren is a rockstar. Hate him, but am intrigued and intimidated with his presence and cadence. He is what the force looks like when instability handles it.


Poe is the hero that Han Solo would have been if he actually wanted to be a hero. Charismatic and confident.


Rey aside from being beyond the comprehension of beauty, was no damsel. A women who can fend for herself while being unsure. Definitely a break out of the cliche/stereotypical female hero role.


Finn was the coward turn courageous hero that was to me the most relatable. He's not the "walk away from an explosion" cool hero, but he's the inspired hero. In the face of danger, he steps into a situation to save the one person who looked at him as more than a weapon
