Rivers interview after last game in San Diego

Quote:I'm not sure what the chances of both the Raiders and Chargers moving to LA is, but I hope that scenario doesn't happen. Two teams in the same division playing in the same market and same stadium just doesn't seem right to me. What if they both made the playoffs and one hosted the other? Would there really be a home field advantage for the team that was the "home" team? I realize that playoff tickets would be offered to the season ticket holders of the home team, but that means little as to what happens after that. The problem with both teams sharing the same stadium would be the lack of a "home and home" series. Instead of "Raiders at Chargers" one week and "Chargers at Raiders" another week, they would just have the same game twice. So if the NFL wants to move two teams, one needs to be the Rams. |
