Rivers interview after last game in San Diego
|
It seems almost nailed on that the Chargers are heading to LA. Philip Rivers post-game interview was really sad to watch:

Nothing seems almost anything. The players know it may be the last home game in San Diego, but nothing is probable.
It is obvious Chargers fans are much better than Rams fans. They actually showed up at the stadium.
Quote:Nothing seems almost anything. The players know it may be the last home game in San Diego, but nothing is probable. Of course it's probable. The Chargers have more owner backing than any other team to move. The owners don't want to stay in San Diego (unlike the Raiders who want to stay in Oakland). The NFL will have at least one team in LA next year. Watch the video - Rivers is almost in tears. He know it's the last game at Qualcomm stadium.
It's absolutely probable.
You don't think the franchise QB has an idea of what's going on?
Quote:It's absolutely probable. Three teams applied for a move to Los Angeles. The NFL is not leaning toward any one of them before the vote. Therefore. it is questionable, not probable, that was the last Chargers game in San Diego. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:I fully expect one or both the Chargers and Raiders to end up in LA. Many people do. That does not increase the probability of San Diego losing a team. Quote:Many people do. That does not increase the probability of San Diego losing a team. Okay. Quote:Nothing seems almost anything. The players know it may be the last home game in San Diego, but nothing is probable. It is NOT even remotely close to being obvious Chargers fans are much better than Rams fans. The Rams haven't had a winning season since 2003, haven't been to the playoffs since 2006, and haven't even finished .500 since 2006. Yet, the Rams owner Stan Kroenke has refused to even publicly address the St. Louis Rams fans in years. But he comes out with plans to build a stadium in Inglewood, CA. The combination of a losing product on the field year after year and a " Major League " movie type of owner would alienate any fan base. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:No, it just means weather was warmer for traveling. The Rams play indoors, so weather in San Diego is irrelevant. How can you be so stupid?
There's a Pot/Kettle quality to this post.

If you have an idiot and you motivate him,now you have a motivated idiot.” Jim Rohn Quote:The Rams play indoors, so weather in San Diego is irrelevant. How can you be so stupid? You're rude. He said travel. Fans have to travel to stadiums. They don't live there. The weather in San Diego is most often far nicer to travel in than St. Louis. We show less advertisements to registered users. I'm not sure what the chances of both the Raiders and Chargers moving to LA is, but I hope that scenario doesn't happen. Two teams in the same division playing in the same market and same stadium just doesn't seem right to me. What if they both made the playoffs and one hosted the other? Would there really be a home field advantage for the team that was the "home" team? I realize that playoff tickets would be offered to the season ticket holders of the home team, but that means little as to what happens after that.
I think if two teams move that the Rams and one of the AFC West teams makes the most sense. The two LA teams would then only play each other once every four years like the Giants and Jets do in New York.
My heart breaks for the fans in the cities. Just give LA two expansion teams.

Make the Jags Great Again
Blake Bortles......YOU'RE FIRED! Dave Caldwell.....YOU'RE FIRED!

I realize that playoff tickets would be offered to the season ticket holders of the home team, but that means little as to what happens after that. The problem with both teams sharing the same stadium would be the lack of a "home and home" series. Instead of "Raiders at Chargers" one week and "Chargers at Raiders" another week, they would just have the same game twice. So if the NFL wants to move two teams, one needs to be the Rams. THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. |
