Del Rio's coaching in Denver
|
Quote:As soon as the Pats game back down 3 TDs because of Del Rio's soft zone, I thought to myself, "Some things really never change." I assume you meant to say, "As soon as the Pats came back from down 3 TDs . . ." It is important to note how Denver scored 24 points and prevented New England from scoring in the first half. They did it with their ball-hawking defense. Even former Jag Terrance Knighton recovered a forced fumble and ran it back. One fumble recovery went for a touchdown. The first half was all about Denver's defense, not the offense. I guess you did not watch the first half. It is also important to keep in mind DRC was injured on the last play of the first half and did not return. Without him on the field, Denver's defense struggled because they already were missing Champ Bailey. In addition, New England got some more opportunities by taking the ball away four times. It was clearly Denver's offense that lost the game. |
