Burfict belongs in the NFL of the 60's/70's. Back then guys like Butkus and Jack Lambert would flat out try to take guys' heads off,, knee people in scrums,, gouge eyes,, break bones,, etc...


Ronnie Lott and Steve Atwater hit people in the same sort of way too. But those are bygone, ancient eras.


That stuff is an absolute "No-No" in this day and age.



Burfict plays out of control. If he can't be "reeled in" by coaching, Cincy would be better off if he was suspended indefinitely or they let him go.


Active as Burfict is during games, the Bengals still went 6-0 this year before he even played in a game.


They really don't need him to still win. In fact,, it ended up costing them their biggest game of the season.
