That's a tough one.  Right now, don't have any recruiting competition locally (where the talent isn't as abundant as the south) aside from Minnesota, and they probably pull in some of those underlooked guys from around the nation because they have been so good historically.  If they move up, are they still going to be able to pull in those guys from around the country when they likely aren't winning as much?  I'd like to see them do it to see how they stack up.  They've beaten Kansas State and Minnesota recently, and have a date with Iowa in 2016 and Oregon in 2020, so we'll see what happens.

 

As for App State and Georgia Southern not being in, NDSU beat GS in the playoffs for their first two titles and have been so good on this run that it's not like they couldn't have beaten either.  Obviously the less good teams in the conference the easier it is.
