It'll never end, dude. Just accept it. Jacksonville will always have those in the press who want to take the team from us, but let's think critically about this for a second: Shad Khan could easily, easily have bought the Jaguars, handed Wayne Weaver a $250M check on top of the purchase price and said see-ya! That was basically the only stipulation in the contract that would have anchored Khan in Jacksonville if he wanted to move: a $250M payment due to Wayne Weaver if the team moved within 10 years--and that deal might have even been specific to LA. If the Jaguars were going to move, it logically would have happened shortly after Khan bought the team. Kind of like how the Rams' move logically happened shortly after Stan Kroenke bought a crapton of land and said that he was building a stadium on it.

 

Just relax, accept that the haters gonna hate hate hate and enjoy the fact that we have one more NFL team than the St. Louis sports journalists who've been trying to poach the Jaguars since the day Kroenke's intentions became clear.

Not that he'd announce to the press that he were planning to do that anyway, but anyone who's been paying attention and isn't desperate and angry (i.e., not located in St. Louis) should be able to tell instantly that Khan has no intentions of pulling the team out of Jacksonville.
