Jaguars still seen as joke by media?

@clarencehilljr Feel bad for football fans St. Louis and San Diego though....yet Jacksonville has a team

Why does the media feel the need to constantly bash and put down Jacksonville?

I thought that was over with already. I guess winning would cure all.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

You must have not been paying attention the week we played on TNF. Everybody was showering praise on our offense. If you use the search function you will find several threads about that.

Yes.

Idiots the world over think this market is a failed experiment by the NFL.

Winning will change that.

Also, and more importantly:

No it won't. Jacksonville is stuck with the stigma of being the NFL's third choice for its two expansion teams. It never grew as expected, it put on the worst hosting job of any Super Bowl city in memory, it's had attendance problems on and off since the early 2000's, and the team has been a near-total joke since 2003. Winning can only solve the latter two issues. A surprise population boom and second Super Bowl opportunity would be the only way to cure the latter.

St. Louis does suck, though.

Ironically the London deal (which everyone hated when it happened) saved the Jags from moving

Until the team starts winning and the fans start showing up we are going to take heat.

The Jags are a joke of the NFL.  We haven't been relevant for nearly a decade.  The arrow is pointing up.  If the team starts winning, the fans will fill the stadium, the media will have nothing left to talk about.  Hopefully the Jags can start the winning part.
