Worst case scenario

DeForest Buckner - Could play the strong side end or the 3-technique DT on 1st and 2nd downs with Marks playing on 3rd down and 2nd and long. Buckner is listed as 290 lbs and plays the run well.
Miles Jack - At 240 lbs he could play MLB. He is very fast and good in pass coverage. Mackensie Alexander - A good CB. Would start on the outside. All would help the Jaguars pass defense. As a dark horse selection here, should the Jaguars be unable to secure a top FA DE, Shaq Lawson may be a possibility. Not sure of the knee injury and won't know until the medical at the combine. For me I would go for the heart of the defense, the MLB. I think David Caldwell may lean more towards the pass rush and may take Buckner or Lawson. |
