This team is often looked at as cursed. I think Khan buying this team could be the moment everyone looks back at in 30 years as the move that turned not only the Jaguars around but possibly the city as well.

Weaver WAS looking for a way out, but he was also looking for the right opportunity. He had other inquiries he passed on. Khan agreed to keep the team here. I think that was the most critical component of the deal they made. The Weavers didn't want to see the team uprooted because they sold it.


Completely agree. I think what we've learned about Khan over the past few years is that he's determined not only to make the franchise successful, but he's intent to grow this market as well. I think we were fortunate he stepped in to replace Weaver.
