City Council Unanimously approves Amphitheater/Practice Fields

My bad I guess. I was responding to the city council vote topic and managed to include both my dissatisfaction with the city caving into the Jaguars and my desire to see a winning team. The two are separate issues as pointed out.
With the new upgrades the city will have spent over 100 million towards upgrades and yes this will be borrowed against the future bed taxes. To be honest I do have a serious hard spot with NFL owners leveraging city's to put out or lose out. Enough said! My apologies, and with that being said the stadium will give Jacksonville a world class venue that would certainly make it difficult for any owner to want to leave. Peace out! |
