Do you realize how close this team is to making the playoffs?

Quote:Maybe I'm punch drunk, because I've been watching Bortles/A-Rob/Hurns highlight videos on You Tube. The offense struggled at the start of the season (to be fair the franchise had a new OC with a new playbook) and new players on offense (one of which got injured during Preseason TE JT and missed over a quarter of the season). The WR duo dropped a few passes and struggled to get open at times, and the rookie RB was picking up blocks while the LT Luke Joeckel struggled and fought thru injuries. The offense really got into rhythm towards the end of the season but the Defense remained horrible especially against the pass. The question is HC Gus Bradley a winner. That is a tough question that the fan base including myself has given him tons of credit (that he hasnt really proven yet winning only a quarter of the games for 3 straight seasons at some point excuses run out winners win its what they do). This is a make it or break it season for Gus (many thought last season was, but the heat has to be on this year with him promoting his best friend to DC did he do enough to fix the problems on Defense)? We will have to wait and see but its make it or bust 2016 despite the extension and i think its up to GM Dave Caldwell to have Gus win too since he stuck with him for four straight years. |
