Based on your comment, previous comments and the time that I've known you, you seem to be leaning more towards the right.  That's not a bad thing either.      It happens as we get older and more mature.

I was never really a 'left leaner', at least not hard left. I could see the benefits and detriments of left and right and, except for '08', I always voted on whose policies most lined up with mine/voting record. As I've said, '08 is another story altogether.  

 

Many years ago I took the test that tells you what your political status was and it showed Libertarian. I had no clue what that meant and didn't care at the time because I figured there were no Libertarian candidates to vote for so what was the point in even researching it further. Last year I took the same test and it showed Libertarian again. My husband the neo-con said that was even more hardcore than him, meaning more right leaning. I don't really think that's true but whatever. 

 

I just know the country is in a downward spiral it will never recover from because those who have the loudest voice, whether they're the majority or not, are going to make sure it happens. Whether out of ignorance or stupidity is yet to be determined but it's already happening. They want it all and they want it now and the only way they'll get it is by voting for it to be given to them. They don't even realize that what can be given can also be taken away by the very same people who gave it to them in the first place.
