Justice Scalia passes away
|
As I stated before, it is President Obama's duty under The Constitution to nominate a replacement. That replacement needs to be rational and vetted by The Senate in order to go through. Some people have floated the idea of Joe Biden, Hillary and Hillary nominating Obama. None of those ideas are rational, and they should be blocked by The Senate.
A Supreme Court nomination should not be a partisan politician. It should be someone knowledgeable about constitutional law. It should be someone with a history of siding on both the left and the right side of political issues. If the court had 9 "Justice Kennedy's" that would be ideal. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. |
