Don't fear losing the #1 pick

Quote:http://www.sportsdatallc.com/2012/01/31/...inning-qb/ The lack of logic in your post amazes me. You can't compare one draft pick (1st pick in the 1st round) to EVERY other draft pick (picks 2-224). So the 1st overall pick has won 33% of the Super Bowls? What other single pick has won more? Has the 5th pick in the 1st round won more Super Bowls? How about the 17th pick in the 4th round? You're basically comparing 223 draft pick slots (picks 2-224) to 1 draft pick position (1st overall pick). I'm not saying that we should lose games on purpose - but given the choice I'd much rather have the 1st pick than not have it. Why on earth wouldn't you want to have the option to select anyone that you want without worrying about another team taking "your guy" before your turn comes? |
