Don't fear losing the #1 pick

#1

You know what today showed us? Caldwell is a boss.

We all know Joeckel is a franchise LT, Gratz had a pick today, Cyprien had a pick today, Ace Sanders balled out, Marks has been our best FA signing,

These guys who are rookies are playing like vets. Caldwell studies film and scouts talent like a pro. Whoever we pick and wherever we pick I fully trust that Dave will get it right.

I agree. I've spent a whole lot of time scouting the QBs in this draft, and while Teddy looks really good, the overall improvement of our team is worth more than a losing culture with a good chance at Teddy.

Cant pull franchise QBs out of thin air. If the top 2 are gone then what? Pray for a Russel Wilson? Dont hold your breath.

If we can't get Teddy, and don't think any other QB is a franchise guy, look for Barr to be our pick. Incredible athleticism, production, and tantalizing upside.

I can agree with this, as the recent wins have felt really nice. But I fear having possibly TB and Luck in our division. It might be rough in the future with these two leading the Colts and Texans.... But love the wins! Go Jags!

Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

I'm inclined to agree.  I'm not going to be quite as definitive just yet - still a bit of proving to be done - but everything is pointing towards Caldwell having his act together in a big way at this stage.

Very excited to watch it unfold after another draft and round of free agency.  This could really get exciting next season.

We can at least bolster the interior o-line and can get ourselves a defensive stud.  And heck, if we miss out on getting Bridgewater, Boyd, and Carr, I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on David Fales in the middle rounds.

Has nothing to do with fear, it has to do with improving their team and not ours.

Yeah, except we won't lose out because Texans are going to lay down for us as are the Colts in week 17. Better start scouting those 2nd round prospects

The way tht the OL played today, changes are a forethought. Our needs lie at the PR, RB and LB positions...

As it stands right now the teams in front of us, Minnesota, Houston, and Atlanta only Houston will probably be in the market for a QB. Falcons aren't getting rid of Matty Ice and I doubt Minn is getting rid of Ponder.

I agree but the way we are going, we'll be dropping out of the top 7 soon. We go with BAP. Maybe ex-track guy Sammy Watkins who could stretch the field. Would take pressure off of our possession receivers underneath
