Yeah but would that made us a playoff team this year? I seriously doubt that. Then guess what. We are stuck either trying to pay him or franchise tag him next year. And he will get way more the Vernon. And lets pray he doesnt decide to smoke spice then he gets suspended for the year.


That trade is just way to risky for a team like the jaguars. The payoff just isnt as high (pun intended) as we need it to be in order to take the risk. We can draft a rusher in the 2nd and have them at low cost for 4 years when we are ready to make a run next year. Hell we may draft a player better than Jones without the drug issues.
