Julian Stanford likely won't see a down on Defense this season but could be on the Game Day roster for Special Teams purposes one or more weeks before the regular season ends.

Another current Lions Assistant Coach that was on the Jaguars coaching staff in the same capacity in 2012 is Tight Ends Coach Bobby Johnson. Assistant Coaches see enough in practice and on practice tapes that they are equipped to make recommendations to the G.M. and Head Coach.
