I'll just have to disagree here.

I liked Eisenberg's Luthor.

 

They purposefully went for a younger Lex Luthor.

His emotions got out of control and he allowed his hatred to get the best of him.

 

 

It's just a different take on the character. And I kind of liked it. Plus Luthor could evolve from this. When he gets out, shaved head an all, he'll be a little older, wiser, and more calculated.
