Quote:D6, thanks for the update.

I've always pulled for Stanford, due to his ties to Wagner College. Hope he sticks.

My pleasure,  Adam.

Prior to Julian Stanford,  the only NFL player and/ or coach from Wagner College that I recall making an impact in the NFL is former Eagles and Jets HC Rich Kotite.   While Kotite didn't have the type of success he hoped for as a HC,  from a character standpoint he's a top notch person.

On the other side of the coin, back when Kotite was Jets Offensive Coordinator,  when Joe Walton was their HC,  the Jets had a Wagner RB named Terry Underwood in their Training Camp.  Underwood didn't make it with the Jets after a stellar career with Wagner but he had a CFL career.   Tragically,  Underwood became most famous for being convicted of murdering his pregnant wife.

Wagner College is the first time I became familiar with the nickname ' Seahawks'.
