I would prefer not to trade up because we need edge rush depth. We need to get a corner with Colvin being more of a slot guy and Amukamara who has had an injury history and on a 1 year deal. We need to get help at LB, and overall we just need a lot of depth help on defense. We also could use help on the interior OL and possibly a TE depending on how we feel about Koyack.

 

If we trade up from 5 to 2, I'm sure it'll cost us our 2nd rd pick or a high pick next year. That just seems really "meh" to me, considering someone at 5 should be there that we have high interest in such as Jack, Bosa, or even Buckner (I don't see Ramsey making it past DAL). If we REALLY love Ramsey which some believe, and we want to secure him, I won't complain about trading up to get him. I just don't know how I feel about giving up another high pick with 5 to secure that guy because we do need more youth and speed in our back 7 and a couple solid LEO options behind Fowler.
