Go watch what he did in college and tell me he can't be the starting SS. The guy has a lot of potential. 

Where did I say to forget about him? I just find it entertaining how a few here have latched onto him as the savior at SS based upon an injury-marred rookie year and the fact that his last name isn't Cyprien. He could be good, but we don't know. All we know is that we drafted a kid in the fourth round last year who spend his rookie season mostly on the sideline. Lots of guys look great in college then go on to be mid-pack special teamers in the NFL. What has anyone seen of Sample in a Jaguars uniform to make them think that he's going to be a stud?

The argument is that saying that Sample "looks to be a very solid SS prospect" with absolutely nothing other than a draft slot and a last name to go on is asinine. If the right safety is there, draft him. Don't peg your hopes alongside Gipson on a kid who spent last year in the tub.
