I lost a lot of friends to WoW and EQ. I don't think you will find a game that can recapture the magnitude of players those games had in a working world thats scale was huge. If you want a game thats not technically mmorg but has a very interesting community check out the soulsborne games.. Dark souls demon souls bloodborne.
