Mettenberger isn't on the same level as either of those two, but he has some physical tools to be a good NFL QB. I see some Flacco/Rivers potential in him, though I'm not sure he ever develops to that point. That said I'd easily take one of those two over CSTblank's scenario.

So this would be assuming the Jags are picking 3 or later and Carr is already gone? That would be worst case scenario. I'd pray that Bortles declared and take him...and if he didn't I'd reluctantly take Clowney or Barr as of right now.

I'd be okay with Mettenberger in the 2nd. Not a huge fan of the total package but he does have the franchise caliber arm.
