Assuming his knee is healed enough by then, he could be just as pro-ready as Teddy.

His mechanics are fine, his accuracy is good, his arm strength is obviously great. The problem with Mettenberger is he's just all around slow. Slow dropback, slow mechanics, slow reads, obviously very slow athleticism. If he could just speed up his entire throwing/decision making process he could be a heck of a quarterback.
