I'm inclined to agree with the 8-8 projection as the 'red line'. I wouldn't like it, but it might even be feasible to see Gus retained if the team reaches 7-8, though I think another losing season would be mighty hard to swallow with the talent that has been acquired. I might grudgingly agree with 7-8 in the event of a truly catastrophic injury such as a season ending injury to Bortles and or the Allens, or perhaps to a bunch of our new acquisitions. Let's hope that doesn't happen. It just seems more and more apparent that for teams to make the play offs a whole lot of things have to go right; in the case of this team, even more than usual if we're to be more than 'one and done' flashes.
