Retired QB Byron Leftwich lands first NFL coaching gig

Quote:He knew X's and O's and was an excellent study.  People forget how much progress he was making when he got injured.  His throwing motion was the problem not his Football IQ.  He was never going to speak like people expected.

Agree... he was much brighter than Garrard, on and off the field.  Just never "sounded" like it to "some people"...

Vic gushed about his football IQ all the time.  It's why he was so productive in college.  Just couldn't play at NFL speed.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
