I was more meaning in the present. As in do you think he would continue to find job opportunities as an NFL coach if his last name wasn't Ryan? I personally don't think so because I don't consider him that good of a defensive coordinator.
There's no doubt having an NFL second name helps but he was a really good coach in NE.


I don't think he's a great coordinator either but hes good enough to be in the NFL.


The Saints had the 4th best D in the NFL in 2013,that doesn't happen by accident or because of your second name.
