If that's the case. It's still a poor way to handle sports at any level. I sadly agree with you. It's been like that for decades for certain across all sports really. Sure, it doesn't mean it's rigged. But, that doesn't make it right either.


All players should be called and judged fairly in their respective fields of play. Superstars shouldn't be handed a free pass just because they're driving up more revenue than other players or franchises'. That's honestly a disservice to the sport itself, but, most of all, a disservice to the paying fan base and customers that are the life blood and backbone for all sports and franchises to exist in the first place.

Human error from refs is just as much part of sports as everything else.Humans are able to be tricked,deceived and sometimes make emotionally charged decisions. Most refs in most sports try to make fair and rational decisions but like every human they too are prone to mistakes. Its just the way it is.


Being able to make an objective,fair and correct decision in a split second is far far harder than people think.
