He 100% is, until he becomes a professional QB. Blake Bortles is merely talented with gifts, moxy, and incredibly fearless 50/50 wideouts at this stage in his career. He hasn't shown franchise yet. Unless you are new JVille, i.e. not au fait with winning football. Or, predisposed to giving free passes to certain types.


Byron Leftwich and David Garrard won more with less functional pieces and were shown the door. Bortles absolutely better transform into a QB to reckon with, otherwise we'll be Jay Cutler part IV++. A thin line. Bortles, to me, knows this. Thank God. He is a hard worker with an open mind.
