My guess is someone accidentally put the car in drive or neutral during rigorous activity and didn't notice the car made its way into a pond. Doesn't sound like it was in deep enough to alert them (pun intended). This actually makes the most sense... this combined with some prescription drugs etc... of course the next day he wouldn't seem all that impaired with no alcohol to smell... and being helped out of the car could easily be contributed to the downward slant of the car. |
