I watched him play.  Blackmon was eye popping.  Robinson is infinitely more consistent, but doesn't play with the flair Blackmon did (which was Irvin-like, best way I can think to put it.)

 

If you were to couple his talent with Robinson's work ethic... wow.

 

Blackmon was more talented, and it isn't particularly close.  He was a rare talent.  It was unfortunate that his demons were similarly exceptional.  It's not really worth debating, though since he's gone and not coming back.
